Love the textures in the wallie. The monotonicity makes a strong impact. + fav

This image's foreground material is obtained here in MT, uploaded by Marissa. The scan's image reminded me of someone who comes for pilgrimage, and so there came this image :).
I modified the scan by removing her cross-necklace (I think it's unrealistically too big). It left me with some retouching obligations, but I'm kinda happy with the result, anyway. ;)
The picture's background is imaged as cemetery area, to follow with the aforementioned "pilgrimage" theme. I added the shades-of-blue to give impression of sadness-and-loneliness. This also left me with option to discard her hair color (it was brown until I add the layer) -- but then I think, "hey, we can get the atmosphere right with it; some color can be traded-off..." It wouldn't be the same if I left her hair as it was -- so I chose to give it the blue-tone, which then I feel happy with it.
Comments and inputs are welcome. Please tell me if you have advices... ;)
