Love the artwerk ! I honestly enjoyed looking at the detail you have put into the illustration of the lead female character. She is beautiful and soo regal. Makes me think she is a Egyptian princess in love with a Roman official / senator / or a mage. The lines are smooth and straight. At the same time, you have done a super job with the shading such as the princess, the mage / senator and the bird. A pet who belongs to either character ?
The story, please forgive if I don't know what story this pix is from. This is worthy of being placed in my "Fav" file ! Smile !

Really nice bg, the palm trees are pretty well done ! I love the brown pencil as well, give a 'warmer' feel to the drawing than a classic black / white work...
As usual, great shading, character design and awesome clothes, so i reckon it can only be a fav ! -
