Hi there !

I just drop by to submit my latest wallpaper and then go to the "ferias de Bayonne" \o/ (if there are french people around ^^)
I wanted to make something on Saiyuki for quite a long time but I had no picture that really inspire me until I found these ones. I really like the way they're drawn and the style they have and so I tried to make something that could fit with this kind of "atmosphere".
It's the first time I try something like this, hope it doesn't look too messy (a bit, but no too much ^^')

    How I love deceptively simple looking wallpapers. There's just so much detail, patern, texture & time that's gone into this, but it looks so easy...

    The final results are clean & confident, with a wonderful bold self-assuredness to it. The rainbow of greyscale is complimented by the touches of bloody reds along the bottom. Yet nothing is over-whelming, and at all times it remains in control despite the hints of extravogance teasing their way up the image.

    An exceptionally clever use of scans, colours and brushwork. Feeling very right in it's monotone gray. This peice holds a mystique valuable of noting. Very nice.
