the character looks cute, the effects you used looks nice in your wall, the chinese/japanese characters help add character, the colours you used match well with the character however i dont think that the character blends all that well in the background because it looks like he is just placed in the middle of the wall and he seems to be looking at something yet not seeing it... however it could just be me ^_^'... overall your wall is nicely composed ^^
