Another experimental wall because I am in an experimental mood. Plenty of times
I've traced a manga image to make it look like an anime image, so why not
reverse the process? I've been wanting to try a wall with more manga-styled
panel layouting, and the idea was always to have someone reaching out to grasp
something. This Belldandy
scan fit quite well with that idea, even if the feather is shamelessly
copied from my previous AMG wall (which itself was shamelessly copied out of an
FMA wall.) Along with a test in manga panel layout, this was a test in using
digital screentones to color an image instead of using, well, colors.
The title is because I think I remember a song somewhere called "Little
Wing" and it too fit the bill.
P.S. ZOMG SHE'S NEKKID. Yes. An expression of beauty and purity with the nude
body. Except you can't see much of it. But I deliberately didn't draw in the
ribbons to that purpose.
P.P.S. Stop complaining that you don't have widescreen, you can grab other
resolutions at DA! Desktop Anime.
Better yet, get a widescreen monitor, they friggin' ROCK.

yeah, the
original scan quite shocked me, never to see Belldandy bare that much.. but it
really fit the purity and beauty concept. she's really an angel. good job
tama-neko-san! 
Pretty cool. I love the B&W and the way the feather sticks out of the frame against the black.
Very nicely done. I like the manga-esque textures.
This will be very simple to flop to use on our Macs and keep the text reading correctly.
I think "Little Wing" is the opening theme for "Scrapped Princess" - by JAM Project. Stevie Ray Vaughan also has a song named "Little Wing" but I don't think it's the same thing.
There is also a great AMG ED track just called "WING". It could almost be a swing number by The Andrews Sisters and I have it on almost every mixed CD I play in the car. Glad my wife likes it too or I'd be dead...

Oh, lord,
I should be slapped for that. Thankfully no one is around right now. But,
yeah...not like you can see anything in the wall or the original scan, so what's
the big deal? Anyway, neat concept, and the finished product looks really cool.
Apparently I missed a lot of artistic evolution while I was gone. Oh
well...them's the breaks.
