New wallie! I decided that I wanted to learn how to make scenic wallpaers. All of the bg was made by me. I'm actually pretty impressed with myself. The clouds turned out really good. This sky looks like one of the blistering hot early summer days here in Oklahoma. Everything is still green but the first heatwave of the year had just blasted in from the southwest. The character's name is Maple according to the page she was on that I extracted her from. She's reallyl cute! I love her funny hair. I toyed with making this a night scene and using some effects to make her different colors with a large moon in the sky. I may still do that and if I do I'll post a link to it here.

Getting this done has been challenging because of the heat. Everyday for the last week has been 105+ and with the humidity in my part of OK it's over 110. That makes every room of my apartment an oven, even with the air conditer on full blast and tons of fans going. *pants like a dog* IT'S SO HOT! :angry:

itS so cute! i love this wallie so much its so clean, and so soft and clear! I love the quality of it to, and the colors. The bg clouds look very Good, and the scan its self is very neat, and clean once again! XD thanks for this, ill add this one to my favs! :D

its a really nice wallpaper! The clouds are pretty and fluffy. It does look like a hot day, but it seems theres a nice, cool breeze and the girl doesnt look hot at all - which makes it really nice because those of us dying from the heat in japan dont have to look at someone else being hot. hahahah. the flowers are so cute. Maybe it would have added a little more depth to the wall if you added some darker blue to the sky and a smaller grass brush effect towards the back (behind the last top layer of grass). or some nice, rolling hills in the background would have been pretty. But nice job overall!
