gah, i was in two minds about whether or not to submit this wallpaper. it started off with all kinds of techy stuff in the background, and even though the stuff took forever to make, i discarded it all in the end. i started off with a coloured light burst, then ditched that because the background would be too dark. then i had a "magic circle" thing, but that turned out really crappy. i then did the rings and coloured them, but again the background was too dark so i ditched the colour but kept the white rings. added sparkles, clouds, lens flare, etc, then decided the left side was too empty. so i tried all sorts of stuff to fill it in (including extracting about seven different birds and adding them in, but i didn't like that either) and so just added the title. PHEW! this was honestly meant to be a quick project, but it ended up taking the better part of a week. and i'm still not entirely satisfied with it. at one point i was going to give up on it completely, but everytime i opened PS it was niggling away at the back of my mind, blocking all other inspiration. hopefully now i'll come up with something better for my next wallie.
time taken: total 10+ hours, waaaaayyy too long for something that turned out so simplistic
