Even with the same grade, different pencil brands work.... differently.
Done using 2B Staedtler and FaberCastell Pencils, 2B 0.5 lead Mechanical pencil
on Canson Sketch Paper/pad
I prefer using Faber Castell, less expensive and diffused on Canson paper, gives a good shading effect
Oh yeah, The taller girl, Denise, was drawn with holding the far off end of the pencil (opposite end of the lead) because I didn't want to smudge Aoki's face ._.

I soo love canson paper, it has that smooth grainy look to it (plus, when we had to draw on it in art class -a long time ago-, it gave a good feel under the pencil ^_^').
Anyway, nice drawing, Aoki's pretty nice (as usual), but Denise's eyes are either too 'closed' or too close together (though, it's the way you draw her....). Really nice work on the hair and shading !
Oh, and i'm sure you still didn't tell me the story behind the scar on Aoki's neck ;)Thumbs up, good to see you 'more or less' alive :D

Beautiful doujin Ryuuen! (as always!) Excellent shading and they're both so cute! (Though Denise looks a tad like a guy with those tufts of hair sticking up... ^_^') I also agree with Anjhurin that there's something off about her eyes, but it's still such a well drawn doujin that despite all that I'm still going to add it to my favs! Keep up the great work! :D

Look so real! Ryuuen you're just so good at this. ^^ Denise looks like a guy, probably with that hair standing out, but I can't deny that it's such a good drawing.
