Has been a long time since I last submitted anything. So here it is... My latest piece of work!
This is a VECTOR. I guess it looks like I used a tablet or something though.
Choose this piece because I wanted to do something more challenging than my normal works. And boy was I challenged!
My first time using illustrator so I had to adapt to the shortcuts and the functions. Of course, the gradient mesh tool which was used to create the shading was a pain to manupliate. But it looks much nicer than solid colours.
The most tedious and tiring part was the hair. Had to split it into many small parts so that the mesh would not be so complicated. As it is, my comp was barely able to support all the meshes.
Changing the colours to get rid of the sunset glow wasn't to bad. Just had to tweak around with the hue to get the right shade of skin colour (it is always the skin that the most difficult to get the shade).
The most enjoyable part was the eye. Has a thrill of a time picking the colours so that the eye looks 'alive'.

i have to say that is very good, ......with this specially, i like the hair and the shadows in the cloth because it reflect a good job.

Hmm... great vector. The mesh-shading is absolutely superb; you did a wonderful job with this... I especially like how it turned out on the arm. It just seems to really "work" there for some reason.
The only complaints I could have about this are in the face... I'm sure this is mostly due in part to the art of the original scan, but the shape of the nose and the face in general seems a little strange, and something seems off with the mouth, and a little with the eye (by this I mean the shape, the outline, and the placement; your effects for the inside of it were amazing as was the rest of your meshing).
Overall, though, I think this is a great work and would like to see more from you~~ waii.

vector is so much nicer than the scan I used..
there's a few jagged lines, but that's not my major concern. anyways i like how you give different color tones to the skin. looks really good too.

WOW, you did all that coloring in Illustrator. I really need to practice in that department
My only complaint is the outline for her mouth/lips, just doesn't feel right to me with combo of the shading on the top and the black outline for the bottom of her mouth.
