Yes i like the overall layout and color scheme too but the text and the girls at the bottom to me seems out of place. Its still a good wall though I like it

Back at ya!
This wallie was taken off due to poor extractions. I sought help from various tutorials online (special thanks to Imanimetions.net)!
It's new and improved. I honestly followed all the instructions and tried my best. But because the image is a manga drawing, the original brush strokes are a bit rough (I guess it's the style) and hard to clean up. This particular image is quite appealing to me and goes well with the background, so it stayed. Hopefully this wallie will stay too. *crosses fingers and toes*

Its very good, however, because of the contrast of the styles (misato and the background) it give the wallpaper the feel that you just found the image and just slapped it on (srry, that the only way i can put it)
(this is coming from a complete novice at this) but if you could almost blur the background slightly so that the character will kind of blend into the background.
But apart from that, the colours are perfect.

Hey AdventSX (these user names are so inpersonal),
Thanks for the input. You are right, I did create the background, extracted Misato and put her in the corner. It's funny that you suggested blending with the background mor because I was actually trying to make Misato standout more with drop shadows and such. The effect I want to create is like a photograph, like Misato just posed in front of a backdrop in a photostudio.
I really don't know how to alter it at this point, and after staring at it yesterday I won't go back and change it for a while.

wow this is a really good wall! I like whole lower-left section of it, it shows a very good effort and good-quality work... Your concept is good, you have a.... ummm.. good basis for it... I like the message in the BG. I just have one little doubt... what are those little thingys in the right beside misato's hair?
