Okay - I actually did this ages ago... but it got deleted cause I had a bricks
as a background
This
is the first vector I've full completed (well minus the background) - and I
think it doesn't look too bad, but I know I still need lots of work
but I haven't submitted anything in a while, and I don't think I'll be
getting around to do a background for this anytime soon.
I love this scene in the Full Metal Movie. If those two had got separated again
I'd have been devestated! I like Ed in Munich
He
looks so good and kind of has this mature air about him that is quite likeable
and Alphonse in the sort of Ed outfit I think is fitting
Nothing too fancy here, and I know the outline is quite jerky - but really, I just have a mouse to work with here - but if anyone could give me tips on how to outline well please let me know!
Oh! And after seeing this movie - you have to check out the Chibi OVA about the
FMA movie after party
Anyways thoughts and comments appreciated

That's a nice vector with it being your first one. If you are willing to do some touch-ups the following need to be altered:
~ Outside rim of all eyes
~ Al's shoulder
~ Thicker lines
~ Different background color because the dark blue really sets it off weird.
Just make sure that all your lines aren't jagged (you did mention in your description you know that though). I would suggest using shape layers with the pen tool if you used Photoshop. You can use that http://www.ferricorp.com/public/forum/viewtopic.php?t=202 tutorial which is very good.
P.S. I love your username.
well, your first vector's a lot better than mine... I love how you did their eyes (and Al looks adorable in that outfit
)
as for the outlines, I think you should either make them thicker so that you can see it better, or just get rid of them alltogether. but the colouring is well-done, though the blue in the background's a bit too dark and vivid, it contrasts too much with the red and the yellow of their hair. maybe a lighter, sky-blue or something, it'll also make the mood seem lighter.
keep practicing your vectoring!
wow. this looks wonderful great job i like this one a lot!
i cant draw al but i can draw ed.:) yay!
