Kikyou and Inuyasha... such a tragic couple...
Got inspired to do this reading the latest manga chapters (464-465) .... 
(I won't
spoil it, but if you must know, note me)
Foreground is vectored from the manga image (loved it the moment I saw it), I chose not to do any shading to keep with the RT style. The background took a couple tries to get what I wanted. It's not a photograph, it's rendered with Terragen. At first I wanted to do a scene of Kaede's village, but found that too distracting, so I decided to focus on the crimson sky instead.
