I got this scan from a site ( www.mshirow.free.fr ). So, this isn't my scan. It'd be nice if it was though. :)

This wallpaper was created along with a whole series of wallpapers from the Galgrease series from Shirow Masamune. I cut out the picture. Simple. Then I lessened the size and pasted it onto a layer by itself. The background looks complicated but it was actually made using gradiants, brushes and filters. Mainly distortions like: ripple, wave, polar coordinates and others. Then I added a black later with the title of Hellcat. The red to black gradiants were created using the gradiant and square select tools. It was a rather simple design but it looks attractive as it goes well with the picture. At least that's what I think. Hope ya like it.
