Ah this thing was hell to make v__-. It probably doesn't seem like it though, but that's 'cuz it was fixed up ALOT in photoshop. This is a freehand piece (i.e. i did the original in my sketchbook, not on the computer).

Process of making: Printed out pics from clover *mainly that one character Oruha was it?..yah she's beautiful and her lips are luscious X3 lol* then came the hard part. How to make it look nice in my sketchbook without just taping them in there..oh I know matte medium. =__= the day I did this I spent almost half of it in the girls bathroom (we didn't have a drier so I had to be in there)..and I had like 4 art classes or so last semester so yah spending half of the day there was possible, lol). Each picture had to have about 20 layers of matt medium on them to come out good. What the matte medium does *for ne1 that doesn't know* it puts the actual picture in a thick layer of the stuff and it comes out clear, you just have to rub the paper off of it with water. So that took forever. The reason why they are kind of all in different colors is 'cuz the first one I did I put it on with just the sketchbook paper, then I painted black over it but it looked too empty and I didn't know what else to do so I put more pictures on, they just needed to be painted white underneath. And then my camera sucks so they came out different colors 'cuz of that too lol. Woo long description (congrats to people who read it all lol).

P.s. if anyone feels like critiqueing this plz keep in mind this isn't digital for the most part that's why some parts are uneven or even cut off *like the one on the very right* believe me it looks alot cooler in my sketchbook ^^;..

Interesting! I'd love to see a scan of what you did in your sketchbook, the process was really fun to read about! The wallpaper seems nice, but I don't know if the images blend as well as they should with the black background, eh, it's nice, though.

I'd like to try something similar to what you did i.e. compositing a wallpaper outside of Photoshop and then photographing it. It's an interesting technique especially since digital art doesn't always possess the same character as traditional mediums like paper and paint (or, in your case, matte medium. :) ) As bromithia mentioned already, the black background does contrast a little too sharply with the colors of the images you have. The images have a more brownish-black that you may want to experiment with instead. That aside, I love the sexy and suggestive images you chose and how you handled them.

Well, let me see. First, i like it, really do ^^, and i admirate all the work you have to do for the final result. But, i don't know, i think that is something missing =x, or too mucj things at the same space.
You made a good selecting of ohura's pictures (who, by the way, it's my favorite lol), but if you had choosen just one, or less than you did, maybe u could have a diferent and more style result.

The last image on the right...i think is the best one, if you try to out it on the midlle. What u think?

Just my opnion o.k, don't thake it for serius please! I just said that because i really like your wallie, and how u made it

Bye bye, cya

A clover wall eh? It's gorgeous I love all the little lip pictures you used in it, it seems very sensual..and woah seems like u put alot of work into it! Must be hard work doing a traditional wallpaper!
