Humm.. well.. what to say.. I've made this for two reasons: 1. it's raining hard pretty frequently these days and 2. my wallpaper site KatzKrafts evolved to version 2 and I needed a wallpaper to express how hard it's raining here so I suddenly made this wallpaper. So if you visit KatzKrafts now, this is the banner.
Ok, this is excagg, but, it's really raining so hard, so I'm saying in this wallpaper that it rains REALLY hard. I was lashing at the raindrops as hard as how the rain lashes at our roof. poor girl, she doesn't have an umbrella. background buildings and railing pattern are from sxc.hu... sky.. from scratch.. railing handle.. from scratch.. water.. from scratch.. (omg, why was it purple in the first place..) rain, brushes from DA.. the scan is such a drab to extract so I couldn't show it in a bigger view.. grrr..

wow...you did the rain very nice! the scan you used is also very pretty. I love the effects you used to get it look like its raining very hard - like having that "rain halo" ( i dont know how to describe it) around the character to show that shes standing in very hard rain. The railing is also really good! wow. you made that from scratch? I also love the rain hitting the roof tops. I can almost hear the drumming of the rain on the roofs. the only part that looks kind of wierd is the waves in the river. The waves themselves are a nice touch, but i think you need a little more wave texture in the water.
