Nice work Ray Ray!
The whole color scheme works well and the artsy style comes off looking pretty good. Only issue I have is that it all
seems too blurry but if that's how you intended it like you said then so be it. Keep up the good work :D

Well, a new wall fro me. The extraction of the image was hellish. T_T I have no clue where the characters are from. If you know please let me know? I found the scan on 4chan and the paint texture BGish thing is from ibiblio.org.
Took... 3 hours in photoshop, really easy wall. And as for text? I suck at text. And.. I think the characters convey an emotion text can not define. So? No text. Hope you like.

Holy Crap...........HOLY CRAP O_O..............nice wall Ray. Wow, that looks amazing, but like the crackhead said, it is a bit blurry. Try sharpening the whole wally a bit and see how it turns out. But if thats how you wanted it to be, then so be it :P. Great job though, keep up the good work.

The composition is rather intriguing. I find it interesting the way you rotated the extraction slightly in order to have the head on the left visually higher than the head on the right. This departure from the original scan's positioning subtlely changes things. In my opinion, it makes the two characters seem like they are lying down and the POV is directly overhead instead of the original scan's view of her sitting and bending backwards.
As some have mentioned, there is a blurriness to the image. I don't know if your source scan was blurred or not but it seems to detract from the wallpaper. An interesting option might be to use a burn brush over the principal outlines as a means to better define the characters. Generally speaking, sharpening an entire image thru the use of filters rarely turns out well. Making manual corrections using tools is more time consuming but I think it provides better results. Thats just my opinion, so take it for what it is worth.

I agree with you about text. It can be tricky, and sometimes I feel like it really limits a composition. Sometimes one should be able to trust in the expression of the subject matter without having to implement typographical elements.
