This wallpaper is a combination of artwork from The Place Promised in Our Early Days and Amano Yoshitaka.
The header image was something that had been rotting on my computer before I fixed it. I loved the violinist picture ever since I saw it on Minitokyo, but didn't know what to do with it for the longest time. I've made several attempts at prettifying the original pic, but they all flopped. This was probably because the girl was wearing a drab brown uniform, while the guy was wearing an equally boring blue uniform. This time, I tweaked the colors so that their uniforms would go with my purple and green color scheme.
For the background, I looked through Animepapers and downloaded a lot of Amano Yoshitaka pictures. One of them had nice, muted pastel colors, so I decided to put that together with the violinist pic. The Amano pic gives the header a relaxing, zen-like personality while still being vibrant and exciting, and the extra colors give a break from too much green and purple while still tying everything together It also draws attention to the violinists because the bridges come together and sort of make a frame around the people. I think the colors in the middle are a bit distracting, but maybe that's just me.
Yay! This is my first submission here...or anywhere for that matter. So if you think that it looks like something a noob made, just remember a noob DID make it!
