This is another one of thoes backgrounds I was planning to use with Haruhi Suzumiya until it came to be that Mikuru didnt fit the picture, HEY its ok it looks better as it is already ha ha! Let's see what I have today...well its taken about a few weeks to do since the other wall 'Rock on Haruhi' was a side wall I had to do being 12 was the best episode IMO. Lots to look at! The City is one of my fav's using I-Net-GrFX brushes and his amazing talent in archetecture. Another great thing about his brushes is how real they act into the peice your designing which is so much easier. But anyway back to the piece. I also added the lake which again shocked me how well it came out :).
I also love sunsets and this came out to be another one I did for my library. Dont worry Ill get back to the night art as well as day (like the one awhile back called 'Home Again'). The mountains were to cover up the blankness that was being exposed by the light. As for the light I really also loved how it came out as well interacting with the forest and the lake and the city shining from it! *sigh* lets see what else...oh yes the clouds! Used a few of my cloud brushes and one stock (which I rarely use but its a first time for everything ^_^'). For the mountains in the front I by accidentally made it while smudging a few lights in and what do you know it came out with a waterfall to boot.

Your play with light and distance never fails to amaze me.^^ The city lights are really quite beautiful as they shimmer into the setting sun. Quite a creative piece as well. Your use of increasingly darker colours as they approach the border creates a line of symmetry with the sky and forestry. Very nice perspective, keep it up!
