Artist Comment

Well, Aya just decided to submit a new (not so new) drawing... I actually drew it almost a year ago ^_^', but I didn't want to submit my last drawing right away... since I couldn't draw during my last year of university... Maybe I'll find time to draw this summer... everyone cross your fingers XD

Anyways, this drawing is of Mahiro from Samurai Deeper Kyo... I love her spider tattoo... well, really, I love her character XD... So enjoy! And I hope you like the picture...

Please, please, please comment! I'm trying my best... And I appreciate comments more than faves (though, I do like getting faves too XP)...

EDIT:
OMG! Anjhu's right! First one of my drawings to make it to the elite! Happy! *deletes previous comment*

Wow, look at this picture and you know why I tell you you need to keep drawing... this one is great, the shading is really sharp. And the detail for her dress is perfect. The spider is also great too. It's only a tiny spider but it still is very detailed and is the most prominant parts of the picture...

    Oh boy... i'm getting delusional >.< reviewing at this hour is a bad thing... but fun too... let's just hope I don't have one of those "intriguing" dreams of mine where I see spiders... baka bats, and Mahiro ^_^;

Well with my last bit of sanity... simpley great job Aya.

I like this one. Its unique. And the detail is real good to. :)

Ahah, that's how you'll look after taking up the job ^_^' (beware of enemies spies and stuff !)

Quote by Aya sis It may not be elite work

    . Apparently it is :)

Anyway, really nice expression, the grain of the paper is quite cool (though maybe it has gotten a bit old with time lol). Good work on the clothes reflections, and i think you've made some great job with her hands !
As gemini noted, the spider is quite catchy ^_^'. Only one thing : the hair could be a bit more detailed, and your 'coup de crayon' is visible in the black parts of it....

Neat job, so thumbs up, and *supports what gemini said about keeping on drawing* (hopefully you'll have some lil time, with your looongs holidays ;) ).

Just beautiful... Great job on the shading of her clothes and everything in general! Very deserving of the elite gallery! Congrats!

Wow, that's incredible. Lots of details and effort put into this one. The way the character is shaded almost makes this look like it came out a page from a manga. Keep it up!

    Wow. I love this.

Okay, so I must sound weird just running in like this and saying that I love it after weeks of not being on MT. Suwy. But I'm slowly coming back now and it's great to see all this wonderful art that jumps out at me and I have 155 notifications and... well, yeah.

Though I have an excuse. I graduated! And now officially going to Cegep. *bounces up and down* Yep. Graduated. Exams and graduation and prom and all...^^

But it's great to be back around this place.

And this is a really nice drawing. I love the shadings and the intensity and all. That's what I used to find was lacking in your drawings (don't remember if I ever told you, though...). The intensity. Most of your drawings are good where the proportions and expression are concerned, but they oftern miss that light-and-dark touch that could bring them out even more. Gray is not always good. The more contrast there is, the more life you bring to your character.

Okay. Now I got that out of my system, I'd like to say once again how much I like this. Cool textures and nice facial expression! ^^

See you around! (Much more than in the past couple of months, I hope... *smile*)

She seems like she survived a car acident! Poor woman. The drawing is very good, I like all the details. Good work :)
(I hope someone will help her...)

Lovely drawing aya-san! ^_^ and sorry for the late feedback ^^' Her pose is really well accomplished, it's a difficult one. You did a great job with her facial expression, it shows a lot of feeling. The contrast with the shading is great, you did a great job. The shading is very well placed and done. Her clothes are very well drawn, with the foldings and with a lot of details. And the scratches are well done. Very good job! ^^
