Hatsuki has too much hair.
Anyway. After a long hiatus to concentrate on school and such, this is the first wall that I've done in a while. Originally, my idea was to make it look like a brush painting and, as so often happens to me, my concept was too ambitious for my Photoshop skills. But still, I like it the way it is now: simple and clean. It's far from perfect (especially that darn hair), but I already put it on the shelf for a couple weeks following finals, and have been been working on finishing it for the last couple of weeks. Well, the weekends, anyway - working a 9-5 (or 5:30 or 6) research job really cuts into my free time.
All the lines were drawn and filled using the pen tool. Initially, I used 'stroke path', but that turned out to be too imprecise for my tastes. I really do like the way this wall turned out, and will probably come back and do another wall in the same style.
One more note: I don't know if that's the correct kanji for Hatsuki's name. It seems right, but I haven't found anything that indicates what the proper kanji are, so if anyone knows, leave a comment or something.

Wow, I think that's awesome ^_^ The absence of colour makes it look more serious, so that's cool. And I'm really surprised that you did all that with just the pen tool. You would need to be pretty good to be able to do that o_o
But just some things I personally don't really like; somehow, the moon just looks too simple, especially in contrast to the detailed character, and it looks like Hatsuki is missing half of her face rather than it being hidden by her hair/the perspective. But despite those, it's an awesome wall. Thanks for sharing ^_^
Ohh that is great! You did a fantastic job on this wall. It looks really great. I think that you could have done more with it. It has al potential! But it is still beautiful as it is! Thanks for sharing!^_^
