Wow... this wallpaper is a blend of many styles in one. I love the grunge and retro idea, and with the clean vector going with it so well is awesome as well. The blue and red colors of the characters don't clash in anyway, but sort of balance the wallpaper out. Overall this shows great use of brushes and stock photos, and of course the amazing vectoring skills of AkashaNosferatu!

agreed with some previous commenters, the scan is wayyy to off for the background. there is such a thing as contrasting, while there is another called contradictory. you decide. :p

Omg Best eva wall I have seen yet. That particular color really goes well with asuka, and I have seen it used many many times before, but the way you slid Ayanmi in there too really gets me. Best of all it works so that both characters complement each other and the background.
