YEAH! I'm back on MT! School is finally OVER!

For those who saw my previous vector, yes, this is another freakin CLAMP vector. I just love vectoring CLAMP stuff ^^

I really loved this scan when I saw it. But after I finished with it, I hated it with a passion. grr....

Anyways, I first started off vectoring the image but halfway through it, I realized how much the sleeves of her robe look like wings. I wanted to paint a cloud scene on it but after many failed attempts, I decided to use a stock instead. For the stock, I filtered it to give it more of a drawn look. Then I experimented with two different smudge settings to give it that 'painted' feel.

EDIT: Ahh almost forgot my favourite part of the wall-the space scene xD. I was going to start off with a simple space scene to fill in for that dark space but it kinda got out of hand =P Somehow, birds ended up flying in space o.0 (upper left corner of the robe). The other set of birds are near the bottom and I tried to make the birds look like their flying upwards.

The background with all the vecotrs and arrows and stuff were inspired by many of his older works when he used the vector brushes. The brushes are from Paul W

I'm too lazy to write anymore but I'll try to answer my 500+ notifs soon x.x I promise to submit a real wall next time xD

Boring info:
Time: ~15 hours over the span of 6 weeks
Music: I don't know x.x
Inspiration: Devil Dude He's been such a huge inspiration ever since I saw his works on MT. His walls have style, cute anime girls, ecchi(for the perverts =P), simplicity, and other good stuff. Anything other than cliche. What more could you want? Please go check out his gallery. If you don't I'll hunt you down and...and....I don't know. Just something horrible.

A perfectly executed wall with a beautiful space scene. It deserves way more than 16 favs....

How can something look both so simple, and yet be so infused with shocking amounts of detail?

This is an absolute delight. A real carnival of colour, detail, and all the while it retains the characteristic style that CLAMP have developed. The detail doesn't weigh the image down; quite the opposit in fact, it adds the extra sense of freedom & peaceful serenity.

It's a visual feast and everyone's invited.

Proposed by euna and highlighted by Saikusa.

...Wow. I love the colours, the sheer shades of azure and deep blue with the varying pinks from hot to delicate, combined with an outstanding but not overpowering red and the light green of new buds and pale lavender. This is gorgeous! Love how her sleeves merge into wings and keeping to the gist of Tsubasa's theme, seem to be portals across dimensions, spread across blue skies to outer space where comets shoot across. She's embracing the bird which seems to hold a sad secret within itself and we can see other white birds soaring free across those sleeves to an ethereal space of speckled rich blue, almost as if they were released. Does the bird have anything to do with the last few scenes in Tsubasa anime 2nd season? If so, then it's all perfectly clear.

[*possible spoiler : if true, then the bird is a manifestation of Sakura's many feathers which contain her heart and memories and of course, it is sad because without their rightful vessel, the power in her feathers are constantly either falling into the wrong hands or spinning out of control. If I remember right, with her embrace, these feathers revert to their true form and floated off to other worlds. In this case, it looks like your interpretation has them as birds flying off. And I like it.]

I really love that caring expression on Sakura's face and how you managed to make the vector look CLAMP yet different. One thing that was not to my usual taste were the arrows in the background. But with long staring, I grew to love those too. You evidently are a skillful artist and I know what you mean when you say you are angry at this work. I get mad at some of the stuff I made last time which had initially seem great but after slaving over, grow to hate. But, be proud of this because let me tell you, it was worth the trouble.

A toast! Congrats for the highlight!

i really like the way this came out, i don't really know how to describe it but its like her clothes hold some magic to it. It also gives the feel like it's a painted piece.

    thank you for sharing

I love the illusions that are built inside this picture. The essence of it is like a whispering secret through a frozen meadow.

P.S. I heard someone say that her expression was caring. I'd like to add to that. I do think her expreesion is caring but when I look at her eyes I see fading. Sort of like when you're looking at your most treasured possesion manifested, but you always knew that you would lose it and it would never come back.
I'm not sure why, this is just how I see it.
