My Personal Scan

Here's another fairly recent offering from the talented Tukiji Nao, featuring a rather fanastical floating city filled with beautiful girls, and strange goat-headed creatures. The title from http://naotukjiji.main.jp is rapiyuta town. Laputa town. My best guess is it's meant to be the Castle inthe Sky back in it's hey dau, before it was deserted.

Personally I'm really pleased with how this scan has turned out. The image on the reverse side was vividly visabe through the paper, which gave an ugly grey shadow across most of the image, especially across the girls' faces, shoulders & hands. It was so difficult to clean! But I think the end result is worth while, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do...

And since I mentioned the reverse image, here it is.

Such a beautiful elaborated work! The design of this piece is excellent and it's so full of detail. It's really a great work. I love the colros and the design of the clothes and the floating city. It looks very delicate in a way. The big girl's head has a goat's horn too... *_*
I don't know who's Osna, *never watched the movie* but when I read ''emerald city'', I immediatly thought ''OZ!'' ^.^
The shades of Emerald on this scan are the best part, so vivid. :D
And the flying sheep resembles me of Peter Pan and Hook's ship.
The reverse side is just CUTE! Loved the curtains! :D
    Thanks for sharing! :nya:

This does not look like a Tukiji-sensei artwork, it's very different from the well-known style of hers...
Oh, but it's gorgeous! I really liked the painting style that makes everything looks like an illustration at a fairytale book. The central character is very interesting, looks like she's dressed by the city!
Thanks for sharing your stationary! I really like them!
