The original scan needed a lot of repair, so after doing that, I continued with the initial setup and created mossy walls using paper textures and photomasks of stones. I traced the prison bars as well from the scan, and used textures to dirty them up as well. And the blood is exaggerated for dramatic effect \o/

most wallpapers flaw is grainy scans ! =O= ;;
the background color matches the character's hair and all elements blend really nicely -
