Eri Natsume Wallpaper: Summer Dream

Yes! Another wallpaper from me XD And my first hand-made too lol I used almost a week to finish this for it wasn't easy to complete X-P Often got stuck in the process OX And you don't have to ask me how many layers I've used coz it was so many that I forgot >_<

I extracted the girl, think its title is Heaven Gate :\ Image from Boyis.com
Oh well ^_^' Firstly I made the sliding wooden door by drawing the outline and colouring it. Then, I apply some pattern to it X-P
After that, I drew the outline for the floor, fill in the blended colour and apply some texture to it :)

I continue on with the big drawing and.. chinese poem? >_> lol <-- Doesn't know what that big drawing is but it's for decorating in houses X-P Made the blue-textured frame, filled the white space with nice BG colours and got a bit stuck here as I can't think of a nice drawing to fit in with the chinese poem, at first I thought of some flowers, then a water lily but it wasn't natural until I saw some pictures with beautiful leaves and white, yellow field ^^ So, I drew the thin, curved leaves and apply some colours for the field. I like the drawing coz it's a bit dreamy ;)

I purposely left some space between the framed drawing and the wooden door for the sunlight to come through from the other side to show that it's a nice sunny, bright day lol Done this at the end using the lens flare ^_^'

Then, I thought it was too plain if I just stopped there, thus I used the idea of adding some tree leaves above and a few leaves fluttering down. And this was the most difficult part as the colours are too plain and I'm still not good at drawing in detail >.< So, I got stucked here again :sweat: But then, I went to take some photographs of the tree leaves behind my house and got a pretty nice texture and colour :D Then, go on with the leaves by colouring them using my photographs as a reference XD I was glad that it turned out nicely lol wasn't very confident ^_^' I made them look like the sun's ray shine through them so there's some part which is yellow. I like the outcome >_<

Next, to help blend in the girl, I added a little shade and the shadow of the tree's leaves for her so that it seem like she's under the shade :) and she doesn't get sun burn :nya: lol jk jk hehe..

Oh and bout the chinese poem, well I'd have try to translate it but I'm not so good in chinese ^_^' So forgive me for not being able to help :( If anyone could, I'd be grateful :D

And that's the end OX lol I had lotsa fun doing this wallie X-P the outcome looks dreamy so I gave it a dreamy name ;) Hope you enjoy this sweet dream :nya: X-P
