Anyway....
Ive always wanted to make a wall of Saiyuki, but it was hard finding the proper scan & so on...
This scan isnt that clean too Im afraid... >_<
& I dunno how to clean it ^_^'

I had a hard time with the leg since the scan wasnt big, & I had to drew it back...
That explains why the wall's resolution is small... >_<
Erm... Lets seee.... I focused more on the scan
I added lots of texture to it & the overall blending was pretty hard...
The wall is the same style I used in one of my first wallie--This is the world that U gave me.
I made the wall behind Gojyo slightly brighter with some brushes, theres his shadow too...
I made him really dark to give out the tone... hope I did it right... ^_^'
And... erm...
if U look close, theres "bullet holes"
lol.. I actually wanted to make rays of light shining through, but Im afraid it wasnt that much of a sucess, it turned
out like that, & it kinda look like "holy, light bullets" being shot through the wall...
so, here the story goes, hes trying to free himself... ^_^'
Theres the smokes down there too, & the tree branches, I blur it a lil to give it a front view, since we're focusing on the back, it ought to looks blur...
& mind, the white are his strands of hair...
there, done... ^_^' pretty long XD

perhaps green was not the best choice, it needs a more rustic color to present what you wanted to present, it is good nonetheless, the thing is that the character himself is already full of charisma, hence the background will either have to be nothing in particular or something much more attention grabbing than the scan. In this case, neither, but I personally like the shadow of branches and the splatter of the blood, that makes a great solemn and powerful wallpaper. Good job.

Hmm really does look kinda weird, but it reminds me of one of your early walls, i think the style is pretty similar to the Sumi Keichii one ^_^' The blood stains are awesome, but something seems a lil off here and I don't know what ^_^'

that's really truth ..and was the first thing I thought when I saw it but completely wrong cuz actually looks pretty clean and like ...how is that called...mn....like a poster jaja sorry I dont remember but like a really cool card ...the texture is just perfect for the scan...I dont know what to think about that tree but anyway you did a awesome job...keep the good thing up.

yeah..like enchan said..this look similar to the wall with a girl hugging..a dog? a teddy? well...you get it :P I likr the branches used and neat scan ;) maybe you should draw him instead XD

Yay! Kenren! *dances* *doesn't like Gojyo with short hair at all, but likes Kenren that way, if that makes any sense?* I luv him and Gojyo so much ^^ But back to your wall...
I really like the texture of bricks in the background, but I also like how you also added the faint checker pattern over him. It gives a nice contrast ^_^ LoL... and the blood adds a nice touch. It's a great wall :D

Fascinating title and it really matches the idealism of Gojyo. I like the placement of the scan. The textures over the scan works well and the tree branch is good for perspective. The only thing is the wall. It's a mix of glass cube wall or a brick wall. I kind of preferred one or the other. And the blood is a good touch to match the splatters over his body but the one of the wall should vary in darkness and lightness. I like the wording and the darkness in the piece. Really nice work~
