Hi Guys! well SURPRISE! haha XD Maybe you are all thinking: is that kind of art from KittyCyn? well yeah...but specially my participation for the:
Colorfull Wallies CID Contest
Umm maybe is the most dificult and completely hand made wallie Ive created. The scan, wasn't really a scan, it was
an image found on the internet from a Coloring Book, so the "scan" was only outlined.
BUT the resolution was VERY POOR, less than 1000ppi ~_~ so I had to vector the whole line stuff again, PLUS adding color
to it.
For coloring I didn't wanted to paint it exactly the same colors as the original characters, so I began coloring
both trying to make them as if they were my boyfriend and me when we were little ^_^'
I can say I had a lot of fun coloring them, cos the clothes and fisical characteristics (like hair, skin and eyes) are
very close to us. LOL
The Background: I wanted also an imaginary childish land...not the common trees, days and flowers, etc etc. But a
"children dream" an ICE CREAM LAND! like a Chocolate land too!
The BG is all created by me, ALL vectored and with the same outlines of the scan.
I use Thick outlining cos in MOST children coloring books the lines are always very THICK for the children not to paint outside the drawing LOL XP
LOTS of colors in this piece, but I wanted to be the most "childish" as possible, flat colors, brilliant colors, thick outlining, dreamy BG, no perspective, etc etc.
I wish I could have more time to explain more about this, but I have to go now...so I leave you with this and hope you enjoy and remember when you were children once!

it very cute ^^ No wonder it was so hard to make the wall! All those details and sprinkles... but from the full view, it looks kinda weird. Something just doesnt seem... right. For some reason, the thumbnail looks better =/ but dont worry, its really cute, and the adorableness (is that even a word?) rules all.

For some reason I think this art really needs highlighting :D
It's so sweet my tooth aches. And the creativity is brilliant. But what I like most are the colors that you composed. Very cheerful and full of children's happiness. I can't seem to easily find such a cute wallpaper nowadays. It's a very fine piece indeed. Congratulations. And I hope you win the contest ;) -
