Uhm, I'm trying MT on for size, although I'm not expecting much. T_T Anyways, this is an older but still fairly recent wall of mine, that I love. And, stuff.

"I like Cloud. Plain and simple. I also happen to like most anything before the 1940's. Thus, I give you another Vintage inspired wall. This one was based off a poster in a calendar of vintage posters that my mumsy bought for me. Ze Poster: Mossant Not much resemblance, I know, but it was the thought that counts. Most of my time was spent recreating and fixing the scan. Like the nice line that ran right through the middle. And then I only ended up using this much. . . The texture of the scan was left to help add to the Vintage poster feel, along with the screentone for a psuedo-printing look."

rofl, you can never really expect too much from mt. not much for the community myself lately, but still ~ the joy of commenting enlightens and sticks with me so ~
gotta say, i love the scan you chose for this piece. cloud is awesome and i've never seen that scan of him before, but his pose, position, and expression is just.. absolutely something else. can't say for sure, but i'm -assuming- you did that effect around the scan yourself. the white silhouette of it and then dotted outline was a really stunning and just neat effect and it looks fantastic against the background o_o
speaking of the background, eh ~ even if it didn't resemble the calendar poster much, i have to say the same type of- i guess what you'd call- vintage ness ~ feeling still remains in tact ~ color, texture, everything just all in all. background color though, i have to say, in *usual* situations, i would not go for :| but this one i'm honestly.. rather fond of and the scan fits it absolutely perfectly~
the text in the bottom right corner is a rather nice touch and an interesting read as well, if i would take the time in mentioning so myself. mind me asking, is it yours or where did you get it from - the text, that is? other text - advent children, final fantasy, and whatnot - fits very nicely in as well and i gotta say, overall, the wall is a work of sheer awesomeness and blah <3 nice job
like candy-chan said, vintage touch is superb and the wall itself is.. as stated, perfection. one of a rare style that i've seen and have to say ~ love. faved already and i think i'll enjoy commenting more of your works in the future if i ever get the chance to.

I saw the thumb and I was like, "What is that?" and upon full-viewing I was pleasantly surprised.
Cloud looks bad-ass in this wall and I love the way you left the texture on the scan to give it the vintage feel you were talking about. Love the font and colors and those "cut here" dotted lines around the scan.

This is the most amazing wallpaper I have ever seen. OMG. I've never seen art used so well to create even better art. A-Freaking-Mazing. Seriously. Keep up the work, because...just...wow.
