What a beautiful image! ^-^ The concept of a nation in the sky isn't new considering I've played two Namco games that featured floating nations (Baten Kaitos and Tales of Symphonia), but even so---it's a very interesting image. Thanks for scanning it!
I was scanning images for a web site layout, and thought I'd post them here too. The scans came from my Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata artbook.
This particular scan is of Bayer, a nation created by mages. The neat thing about Bayer is that it's a hidden city floating among the clouds. This is the only known floating city in Efferia, but there are rumored to be others. It's a pretty peaceful place, as all the mages live there to escape the political unrest of Efferia.
The landscape illustrations are by In-Jung Jang, but there is no category for that artist.
