This place does look a bit primitive...kinda like a parallel pre-revolution France or something (or maybe the crowd makes it look like a guillotine spectre). Anyway, I love the coloring and designs---In-Jung Jang goes right up there with Hyung Tae-Kim in terms of background design.
I was scanning images for a web site layout, and thought I'd post them here too. The scans came from my Magna Carta: Crimson Stigmata artbook.
This particular scan is of Garute, a barren land that was one of the first settled by humans in Efferia. The lifestyle is a bit primitive (farming and hunting) and has led to disputes between the independent territories of Efferia (Garute is one of them).
The landscape illustrations are by In-Jung Jang, but there is no category for that artist.
