Another nonsensical Type-Moon wallpaper coming from me!
These silly scans that I find randomly while browsing AP/MT late at night are just all too fun to work with. For this wallpaper, my inspiration came from 'Over the Rainbow', from the movie 'The Wizard of Oz'. I spent about two days working on this at most. I didn't want to go over-board with my background... I was considering adding stars, birds, and an airplane to go with what I already have now, but yeah, I felt that it would be too much and take away from the wallpaper.

Such a cute wallpaper even though yellow is not my favorite desktop color. :) It doesnt bother me in this wall, you made it so cute. Really like wjat I see. Great job!

this is... one weird wallpaper lol
well the colors surely do fit with the scan, and the plain-ness of it gives the piece an original feel that makes it stand out from the other walls, but iunno, maybe its missing something really HOT to be cool enough XD
Maybe more gradient details in the sun and borders of the greens. . . -

It's rather colourful and interesting. But yeah, I aggree with Candy here, it lacks something to make it go 'wow'. Maybe some textured details and more contrasts..
But overall, it's a unique and well-done piece. ;) -

the contrast colors does fit the scan like candy-chan said, but overall i really like the design of this wall, not too cluttered but still has a 'festive' feeling ^___^ -

heeeya brom. guess who ;D here to leave that huge comment i promised earlier on o_o;; haha ~
well ~ let's see. why don't we start off with the scan first. a nice choice ~ clean crisp extraction [but could we really have expected any less =s] ~ good job fitting the character into a background that could acclaim to her pose and expression. although ~ i have to say the central focal point threw me off a bit, but i personally think it's fine nonetheless ~
the background ~ the rainbow's pretty <3 [ *sucker for bright colors* ] it's a light pleasing aspect to the eye and the curved lines divert the person whoever's viewing the wall to other accessories within the piece as well. I have to say that the toy soldiers are really cute :E and it's interesting how the cat's curved along with the other curves in the background.
it's a very simple and unique wallpaper, and i agree with you when i say that i think the extra stuff you had originally planned to put in there would've taken a bit out from it as well. the sun reminds me of egg yolk for some reason @.@;; and the clouds look really white and puffy ~ hooray for *glowing* edges. the curve down and inwards kind of confuses me a tad, but eh ~ it's not that bad. the star above her head balances the wall out a bit, too, and i think that was a good idea to stick in.
as for the text =S i'd have to say i think the wall would've been better off without and i like the textless version better =/ although ~ the colors do match rather well, i'll give you that. the font you used for "shingetsutan tsukihime" though really bothers me just a bit. x_x
overall, ehhh, i've seen better from you, but for a quick wall, it was pretty decent nonetheless. keep up the work and the walls that come out for that AP walling war thing =s i'll look forward to commenting ~

I think there's too much contrast between the bright colors of the rainbow and scan and the soft colors of the grass and sky. Plus, the side charas make it seem messy even though this is a rather simple wall... I guess the style of scan doesn't fit with the minimalistic background that well. I think I'd like the background on its own (without the rainbow) You should join colorful wallies though >D
