I found the extracted scan in my .psd folder and decided to finally make a wall of Saber.

Anyway, the title came from the scan itself. If there's one thing I've learned from various anime, it's that if you're going to die, do it with pride and dignity :P
Reconstructed some parts of the scan since it was cut off. Scan from here.
Oh yeah: those things on either side of the scan, they were suppose to be mountains... though they now look like extremely blurry mountains.

Time: about 4 hours
Layers: 38
Textures from DA!

Comments welcome!

Edit #1: I've just realized how many Fate/Stay Night walls are up right now x_x Hope you'll accept one more *bows*
Edit #2: Blurred the scan a bit. Thanks, shiXon!
Edit #3: Fixed my blurry mountains!

I love Saber's dress and here she's looking so bold and powerful! I loved the image you build! She seems like pulling the Excalibur from the rock! So cool! I really liked your wallpaper at the first sight!
    Congratulations!

Awesomeness~ Look how realistic those clouds are! ^^ Are those stocks or you made them by yourself?

By the way, this wallpaper is very angle-wise. The scan itself fits quite well with the perspective of the clouds.

Though maybe the only thing I didn't like is the extremely blurred mountains. I see nothing! @.@

But overall, hmmm... nice wall with good prespective. Rarely do we get wall like this.

  20. Alfonse May 21, 2006

Wow, I've never seen Fate/Stay Night, but it sure as hell looks awsome. The scan looks extremely cool, but that's not the only thing that caught my eye, it's the clouds that look extremely cool. It's so realistic. I think the mountains look decent, but I almost thought they were more like a hill or somethin. Don't get me wrong, it still looks great. Besides...it's not like I could ever come close to makin a wall like this. ;)
Keep up the great work, this was an instant fav. xD
