Send love to that wall
Well this was supposed to be a collab with Gid, but it never worked out and right now I'm sure she's busy with
her battleground thing. So I decided to start on a whole new idea for the scan. I still love you gid <3
We did want (actually I did) to do something inspired from Art Nouveau artist Alphonse
Mucha, and I ended up vectoring one of his frames that fitted the concept perfectly. The Nouveau period
(1890-1910) has been growing on me for about 6 months now, and since then I've been able to visit Paris wich was
increadibly full of artwork and architechture from the early 20th century. So yeah I ended up buying an artbook of
Mucha's advertising posters, and scanned like there was no tommorow! thank you scanner!
EDIT--oh and if you think the title is too big, well crap you. Art Nouveau always incorporates text into the work, so it's supposed to be big like that.

Vectoring the scan would have ruined it, I thought you were good at walling, too, Osi. Candy is too lazy to do something so crazy anyway. I like this wallpaper how it is, the red background and thick outline of the scan is just beautiful. Awesome work candy-chan.
Nah, I think it looks fine without being vectored. The scan has that awesome dirty-like feel. Textures and font work well and the colors are perfect. Excellent job!
Yay more Art Nouveau I love you very long time XD
Well, framing = the awesome. And for Art Nouveau, that's what's important.
"the paradise we seek" and "rakuen" text seems a bit ill-blended with the rest of it, but a great wall nontheless. i agree with brom, vectoring would've ruined the scan methinks. wonderful wall though.
awsome wallpaper, i like the wolfies.
I like how you just blended the whole thing togehter with the texture just to clearly neautralized it, vector or no vector i wouldnt have thought it was one of those anyway... but yeah lovely reffich brown bg going all around the whole wall, beautiful and prestine Candy! ^_^
you puled off the art nouveau rather well. but i do feel that if it was vectored it would have been flawless. great wall none the less. cheers.
I think it is a great wall as it is....the style is something different compared to other and I think thats great
so cu hopefully soon around
I think it looks great! A well made peice of work. It seems that no one really includes Blue anymore. Toboe looks so cute XD
It's a really impressive render of art nouveau, but then, most Wolf's Rain art have the same feel. This is a very interesting take on the atmosphere of the original scan. I can actually picture it as a poster right off the wall of a 1930s theatre. The roots, though, that's the only bit I that bothers me. It's rather obvious that there used to be a whole tree behind Cheza, and now it's gone. ^^;
By the way, may I know what typeface you used for your wall, and where you found it? Either I miss typefaces like that whenever I go font-hunting, or I just never see them at all. I'd appreciate it, thanks! XD
THIS.... this is what i joined this community for! amazing.
It looks really nice! Great work! XD Thank you for posting it!
Wow. Hey I like this one. Very pretty with the wolves surrounding her.
