This is for Crap's Butcher the Song project at The Planning Board. I chose the song Nobody But the Baby from the Oh Brother, Where Art Thou soundtrack, and decided on this. So, yeah.

The baby's the babe from Tokyo Godfathers. I vectored the lineart from scan,
then painted it with my trusty ArtPadII in Photoshop. I made most of the
blanket, and wung it with the folds. I hate folds. -___- The photo idea was last
minute, 'cause I wanted to include the song.
That's all I have to say, hope you like it.

Something tells me I really should pull out of this whole thing, man you guys are like far too great at this, this piece is deepness, I could hardly imagine myself doing something this great. Love the whole sephia picture feeling and what is best is that it is not a generic animewallpaper. Oh man... an instant favorite, I am listening to that song now and wow... amazing grace on my desktop.
lovely lovely. great use of flat colors that work well with each other. the folds and blanket look fine, and photo juxtaposed over the scene might be a tad cliche, but it is done well in this image. cheers, and alot better than my submission.
Wow, what an interesting idea. When I first saw the thumbnail in the gallery, I was trying to figure out what it was. ^_^ Now that I've seen and saved it, I would like to say good job. It's definitely different and quite interesting to look at.
