I know this story, since I know Questor Magazine (Philippines).
The girl name is, err, I forgot lol. She's a Nopperabo, a symbol-of-justice somethin` being that takes on the form of any woman that has been slained during it's course. She copies the victim's features and uses it as somehow, a tactic or whatever. The guy is the one whom the Nopperabo decided to 'choose' or somethin.... or somethin` like that. I forgot, heh.
