I FINALLY finished this wall. The scan is a piece of art by CLAMP that was made for an Aquarian Age adverstisement of a magazine cover (or so I was told).
This is my submission for Free--Wallers' A.R.T. Contest. Now let's see if I can actually explain the qualifictaions...
-- Elemental: The element I was trying to
portray was that of the Sun, but I
actually used many to pull it together, if you can pick them out ^_~: Water,
Earth, Fire, Lightning..
-- Fantasy: It's a red fairy person standing on water, with magical sparklies. o_O. Okay, seriously, I wanted to give her the feel like a Phoenix being reborn.
-- Mysterious: I'm not entirely sure how to explain this part o_o
-- Abstract: The background consists of an abstraction of the elements
-- Monotone: Everything is in shades of red except for the purple on her dress.
-- Upside Down: The Lightning is upside down. No, really, it is. I have it shooting up from the ground instead of from the sky. It actually turned out looking better that way.
The extraction just about killed me on this wall. I spent alot of time just
sitting and staring at the wall before I finally decided I was done fixing it
and it was ready to submit. And here it is!

The first thing I thought of was a Phoenix. Very cool. I like all the red. The scan is pretty. Very nice background. Awesome with the Zodiac signs on the bottom. You did a great job!

& the solar talisman on the ground looks really cool...
Aside that I find your sky & lightning interesting...
The only thing is... that the ground looks kinda 2D... (dunno how to explain it... XP )

Now this is an unusual wall...definately a fav for originality^_^!I must say that yeah I thought at Phoenix too...and I always loved the legend^_^!
The scan you used is perfect,the colouring fits the chara perfectly and idea with the signs and her feet that practically have the colour of the sun gives the idea of a real rebirth of the sun and what can I say I am mesmerized by the beauty and originality of this wall...again oen of the greatest I've seen^_^!

I honestly enjoy this scan, I can envision the rebirth of the soul of this person. The colours are bright and warm, I like your design beneath the red Onna ! She is worthy of being my ol' screen for the day.
