I went to Kinokuniya today and I spent a rip off amount of money on buying "A BATHING APE"'s 2006 Spring/ Summer Clothes Collection magazine.

I realised I haven't done anything "in your face" lately and decided to do something twisted. On the way home on the bus I got this idea.

What's BAPE? Dude, visit www.bape.com - everyone should know this guy by now. The owner is a DJ, owns his own record label, band (Teriyaki Boyz... great music, and just to tempt you it has VERBAL from m-flo in it and Rip Slyme as well- wonderful debut album too), clothing chain, clothing memberclub, and even a hairdressing chain. He's just rich.

I'm just a disappointed Uni student because I would love to buy this shoe. I don't know what you think, but to me it's a pretty damn funky shoe, and I want it. Maybe if I flew all the way to Japan and shopped around Harajuku. But hey, chances are the best I can get to the real thing is the magazine and this desktop wall. The sig is long because I'm a bit paranoid with the copyrights and everything... but I'm not using this wallpaper as a means to make money... and hopefully BAPE will accept that I'm actually helping advertise their products >_>

And for a rare moment I didn't name this wallpaper after a song.
It was named after the price it cost- ha!

    *lol* :D
An insight into Misa's fashion world?
I went to the website very quickly because I have never heard of it... but I am in Austria you know... *lol* So I am not surprised.
Well your wallpaper certainly is something different. I like how you adopted the style of the website with these balloons. And how there is the prize and electronic code in the balloon. It's funny and original.
The colors are so refreshing! I like looking at it and it fits my spring mood. :) And this is so different and confident... a shoe as a wallpaper. :D Together with the sig... :D
What can I say... it makes me want to have this shoe too. Maybe BAPE should give you a job to make more such stuff... and in exchange you get their fashion. *lol* Because your wallpaper looks actually cooler and more stylish here than on the website. :D

Got to hurry... university is waiting for me.

Hell ya, those are some funky shoes! Man if I saw someone walking down the street in those shoes I would be like, " Hey!...nice shoes." lol. How much is 15.540y anyways? I'm assuming a funky pair such as these are expensive anyways. But this wall only accentuates the funkiness and simplicity, I love it! Really amazing piece, thank you for sharing this!

God, a wallpaper without girls or people in it. I love the shoes! :D That for 15,540 yen? That's like...$150 about? But anyway, love the cool colors of the shoes and the colorful background.

15,540? Hm, that sounds really expensive. I'd rather buy a NIKE shoes. >.<

Funky, it's definitely funky, but hehhe, I don't dig into funky shoes. But your wall here seems a little "different" than usual. ^^ The vector has again, become the main focus. Very vibrant colours used, nicely done. ^^

Yeah, Harajuku... I've seen that place in a picture book... beautiful.. all those shops and stuffs.

  14. Akaiken May 08, 2006

Anyways, definitely love that thing, hehehe! And it's expensive... XD can't afford such thing. Only have 40 yen in my pocket, T_T! CooL!
