Hi Mates!

Since I'm now on vacations (2 weeks) I am bored almost everyday at some time ^_^' so I spend my time making wallies and stuff.

First of all, thanks to DREAM for this beautiful Yoshitaka Amano Artwork!

When I saw this scan I thought it would be interesting to make a different style wallie who's BG fits with the Girl drawing style!

So I made totally by myself this Backgroud, all vectored and then added some textures trying to make it a mix of crayon and oil paints. XD

Is a simple wallie, but I thought it must be that way to fit the girl ;)

Hope you like it :) Till the next time!

    Hey...
I love the art of Yoshitaka Amano. And the background that you added does fit to the way the girl is drawn. Usually I am a bit sceptical about vectoring Amano's art... but here it would have been needed. You adopted the style the girl was drawn so now the background lines are so much stronger than the ones of the character. The stroke of the girl looks gray compared to the full black of your background.
And the text ... i think that was not needed either. It is so strong as well... it's shining out more than the character.
Apart from that I do like your wallpaper. So please forgive me my criticism. I love how you drew the flower. :D
Will there be more Yoshitaka Amano wallpapers of you in the future?

I agree with Regenbogen about the text being really over-strong...any chance of a non-text version? Or a much smaller text that doesn't overlap the girl?
Would be nice if the girl was more black as well like the background

The background and overall style is a really unique take on Amano...colorful and quirky...great choice of scan
    Nice job on the flower
    Love the texture use

Very pretty! Love the textures. ^_^ The text I think it a little too big...maybe make it smaller or eliminate it completely? I like this new style from you. Nice work, keep it up. ^_^

wow i absolutely love the 'oil painting' look given here. everything is nicely put together and i like the use of colors it gives a fun-feel look. though i think that the text isnt that necessary, but otherwise wonderful job ^^ fave+
