The work load for this was 20 hours!
Took me 4 hours to think about or pounding about if i should
added the color to these characters or not..
But what the heck; i went with the simple look. If i added color;
it would so distracitly take away the complexy look of those outlines!
I have nothing much to say but im really satisfyied with this wallpaper.
All vectored.

Oh and P.S; heres a screenshot of all my path lines showing. But thats when i wasnt really finished with the wall. But this will give you an idea how much work i put into this XP

If you bother to look at this in full view, you’ll see why it’s highlighted. It is something we cannot just dismiss easily.
It’s simple, yet complex. It has been wonderfully vectored, and DayBreak should be well praised for the tremendous amount of effort put into this vector wallpaper.

Proposed by shyxsakura and highlighted by euna.

This is really splendid work. I like that you chose NOT to color it, I think it is slightly more dramatic without the color, and all the effort spent vectoring. Great job and thanks for sharing!

  2. ayaki Apr 24, 2006

@_@ shocked by all the details.
I agree with you, the simple look fits the best here.
    .......

i'm still overwhelmed by this vectoring job. >_< great job!~

  3. joycev Apr 24, 2006

O.O'' that must have been a pain to vector... excellent job with the detailed, though simple look.
Like its been said, the absence of color here is a good choice.
    Great job DayBreak! XD

cool wall... but how would it have looked with coloring?..

  9. Tiferet Apr 24, 2006

Hmm. Yea, I think coloring it would've made it look kinda 'crowded', color-wise. I love it :)

  10. Kelena Apr 24, 2006

Wow, I've never seen a vector with this much detail... Good choice about not adding color. Great job! :)

O_O This is even more hard-out outline vectoring than my Rozen Maiden wall. O_O
    Only 20 hours? O_______O
It would have taken me 3 months! xD
Lovely vector work overall. I'm glad you didn't colour it. It wouldn't have looked as nice, and besides, it's complex enough as it is. *_*
Fabulous work! I'm so highlighting this. Keep it up!

  12. crapmonster Apr 25, 2006

indeed...this def deserves the highlight. ahah it took shadow an eternity to do that intricate outline. complete awesomeness!

  13. animefairy Apr 25, 2006

Wow...this wall is very neat and unusual! I've never seen such beautiful and well done works like this. It looks like a sketch and has nice details! Keep the work up, DayBreak! ^_^

That is some of the craziest vector work I have ever seen. I think I'd more sooner jump off a bridge than attempt something like that. 20 hours is amazing for all the detail in this. Wonderful work! A much deserved highlight.

Simply gorgeous, this is probably by far the best vector work I have ever seen. Just solid detail that cannot be surpassed. As Saki said, you've greatly improved with vectoring and not only that, but I think that you've gone above and beyond that. Excellant work that is most defiantely worthy of being highlighted. A favorite for me as well. Fantastic job, DB.

Gee whiz 'Break, thanks for raising the bar for good vectors up to an unfathomable height. T_T Now all mine are gonna look like a big steaming pile of doo doo. xD

I already told you but I'll say it again: gorgeous, amazing, and downright impressive. Not much else to say. ;)

All the intricate details you so painstakingly recreated! What a wonderful clean piece of art work. I really like the simplicity that is taken with the wallpaper, though the tan could stand to be broken up just a wee bit (maybe a slight gradient?). The vector is top-notch and I like how you've only got the character outlines as the focus. It makes me think of an old drawing on parchment. Thank you so much for your hard work, and for sharing! :) Kudos!

  20. sadotsu Apr 26, 2006

This is... unbelievable. Heck, it looks like it was drawn by hand! How did you have the patience for it? And when I look at that screenshot... god.

  21. shioriyukino Apr 26, 2006

i like the way you design this wall
a very unique style with nice vertor
    love it ^-^**
    thanks for sharing

  22. Devildude Apr 27, 2006

How the hell do you even vector that?
Looking at those outlines, I swear to God (although I am atheist) that it is more complicated than looking at Van Gogh's!
amazing work done here and absolutely faving it. For a while there looking at the arms and arsenals, I thought it was from WitchBlade. The details here is amazing, you must share your leetness and skills.

  23. Phill Apr 28, 2006

OMG T-T this is soo amazing XD The lines are perfect , you must put alot of effort into this *_* amzing

  24. Milkiyo Apr 28, 2006

whoa~~~ this is by far the most detailed work I've ever seen O.O the substance of this vector is overload <3 Like a flashback in the times of war against lords :) *mouth left hanging from the overwhelming details* :P
