I apologize for my absense from MT for a long time. And sorry that I haven't
been able to comment on other people's work -__-
Pressing matters ranging from job interviews to extra naptime continue to devour
my time mercilessly.
Nevertheless, during the easter holiday I watched an extraordinary anime called
Honey and Clover. It really inspired me to get off my lazy butt and do something
worthwhile.
Someone on Animepaper also brought to my attention much better method of
vectoring compared to what I used to do so I wanted to try that out.
This is the result and I have to say I'm very happy with it ^^
Notes:
Everything apart from the clouds was vectored by me using a couple of scans.
Clouds are a stock photo which I edited for quality and to make it fit.
Enough waffle.
I hope everyone likes it. Comments etc are welcome.
If anyone would like to use one of the character vectors, I'd be happy to share.
Just tell me somehow.

i haven't seen any of your walls for a long time, the wallpaper looks nice, you put a lot of work into it,
but it would look a bit better if the grass would have more different types of green color.

Amazing job with the vectoring...I couldn't ever do that well. Great job with smoothing the scans as everyone looks as if they should be there...now I want to see Honey and Clover...+Favs for me!

This is really sweet and refresh looking. You did an amazing job on the vectoring. The lines are crisp and the colors are well balanced. The bg matches the vectors well. The grass does need a few more shades of colors but it works out fine. The birds' whiteness seems a lil strong in comparison to the clouds. Majorly nice. Good stuff~
