Well ... i saw that scan on MT ... it was pretty small ... (1280*853) ... but
the scene was so touching that i decided to wall it ...
It is my first try at extending a scan : i put the original scan on my 1600*1200
canvas and then use clone stamp to paint the see and the sand ...
I think it looks rather good :p ...
I was first planing to continue the sea .. but it'll looked absurd and plain ...
so i think a 3 part wall was better and then added the sky by modify and blend
several stocks photos ... and add a brushed sun ...
I tried to add text but wasn't satisfied as i only ruined the final result
Pretty simple wall but i like the warm and touching atmosphere ..
Hope you'll all like it

agree that text would have probably ruined the atmosphere so it was a good move
to leave in out. It does have a very warm feeling to it but if you've seen AIR
the movie it makes ya feel sad, cause it reminds you of the ending scene. The
footprints in the sand were fell done and they look like they have the washed
effect of the water. having the sky and sun was definately the right move as
well and i love the way it reflects on the water.
omg, im so happy your an MT member and u finally posted this wall. i first saw this in AP but i couldn't d/l it and i tried to look for it in MT. now, its finally here. i love it, the scan and the beautiful background. great work!

the characters blend in well with the background..
the setting sun.. the sand.. the sea... plus crying and hugging girls to boot! what else could one ask for? haha.. nice one... its a beautiful wall.... the colours are wonderfully... even the colour of the girls seem to blend into the wall! great job! hope to see more!
