want to do something different with vectors, and voilaaa! BAMMM!
i titled the wall HARUKA because i AM listening to utada hikaru's passion, and the lyrics goes..
omoidase ba, haruka haruka
...and also because i decided to name the girl in the wall haruka xD *doesn't make any sense, ne? that's
me.
i didn't use reference on this one and quite shocked by it, inspired by many vector arts that i viewed for the past
few days
and yes, the girl in this wall is a geisha. i'm infatuated with the movie *memoirs of a geisha* because it is very enchanting and i enjoyed every minute of it even though i'm sure some people thought it was boring or whatever.
the fan is abomination isn't it? was experimenting and that's what i got D: i looved the way the lips turn out, exactly how i wanted it. if you have the time and heart, comments? please? : D BUT, if you're going to critize me about the white borders in the top and bottom.. don't. because they're actually there for a reason.
well now the rant is over, enjoy this piece <33

very pretty ^_^ like the composition, she is like hiding behind the parasol or umbrella. pink colouring of the parasol gives nicely colouring and brightening to otherwise black and white colouring. patterns on the parasol are nice details and gives feeling of cherry tree. also like the blue eye colouring, it's so pure and gives nicely depth :) vectoring is very well done, lines are so clean ! great job and thankies for sharing !
