The meaning of my work's title: "Yesterday and now"
The girl in "Sorrow in yours" is a child, with a sorrowful face. And in my "Yesterday and now", you
can see a young woman, with a slightly smile. "Sorrow in yours" is a black and white photo, mine is a color
drawing. The girl in "sorrow in yours" is the girl in "yesterday and now", but she's
grown-up.
My feeling:
I immediately saved "Sorrow in yours" in my PC when I found it. I had a strange feeling when I saw it. Strange
feeling. Something's melancholy, something's frightened, something's anxious, something's naive in
her eyes. I tried to redraw it, without that naive eyes, instead of a stronger eyes. She came of age.
About my work:
I've drawn it for about 8h, with photoshopCS and my tablet.
Hardthing: her eyes <you can know the reason in previous paragraphs ^^">
Very hardthing: her hair T_T. OMG! I took me a half of whole time, no, maybe a little longer XP. I had to draw strand of hair by strand of hair. Oh god! It was such a terible work, but it wasfun ^^ hehe.
And the last thing: I hope all of you love it eventhough drawing people is not my strong point XP and sure that I got a lot of mistakes too. But I love the new style, it means the new trial.
