The hands looks rather odd. Did you ever think of drawing guide lines to help draw the hands? Or practice drawing tons of hands over and over on pages dedicated just for hand doodles.

love love love, the ripples are great and i love the character in the background, so dark compared to the character in the foreground. and like PF-sama said, his hand looks a bit off, but other than that, i'm totally loving you and your art styles. =D
