Finally, my newest wall ...
Mah, I know ... she isn't really falling ... but couldn't think of any other title, so I stuck with it xD
about the wall ... mah, started making it in Summer 2005, and finished it some days ago x_X yeah ... it took loong time
... tho, if I count the time spent on it, it'd be only around 8-10 hours xD.
As soon as I saw this image, I had to wall it ... the char, and the "window" behind her are from the original
image, I just edit and cleared it a bit, and added some effect. I've changed a bit her skin color ... she was like
a zombie before xD
The "magic circle" behind her is from Fullmetal Alchemist xD ... found an image on the net and vectored it in
Corel Draw ^_^;
The left bottom part is made from nothing ... had quite some problems with the perspective ... it still looks
awkward.
Mah ... don't ask me about the number of layers .... too lazy to count ... but to tell the truth, that doesn't
mean anything, does it?
Anyway, tnx to Muz and others that helped me with this wall ^_^

This is one very cool "Wallie" ! I get the feeling that your character is in a church or some holy place. Like the fact that she in in deep thought, that she is about to release a massive amount of PSI energy. Heaven help the opponent. The fact that she is done in a "soft mode" makes her the more pretty. The majic circle is sweet !

No wonder why this image is in the elite gallery: it's a beautiful wallie. :)
The character position and expression looks very attractive, quite original :) , as when collecting powers the chars usually seem concentrated or raging, while this girl just looks pityful (as if she really didn't want to hurt what/whom she's looking at and was forced to :(). However, I agree with phamthuha that she looks a bit blurry. And besides I think I'd add some light effects on her, due to the luminous magical powers gathering around her due to the spell she's casting... ;)
As for the bg, you've chosen a good material to make the wood and stone of the building (a huge cathedral, I bet ;)), but they look too sharp in contrast with the character, which brings the bg forward and makes it all a strange effect ^_^', because we can clearly see, thanx to the angle of the image, that the window is closer to us than the wall... OX
I like a lot the way you used that alchemist circle, making it look like a ring of stars that come from the char's hands; great idea! :)
Beautiful colours, quite an interesting gothic style... makes me feel creepy... :)
Great, wallpaper, shows the time and effort put in to it. As far as the skin color maybe you could of try to make it stand out more or more realism, but the way it is done blends well and adds to the effect. I believe there is a theme to the colors and texture chosen, very well thought out and the wallpaper as a whole is awesome.
