One of the problems with living in a Pacific Time Zone is that for everyone else, the day's almost over... (~_~)

Anyway, this is a little bit of Akira x Yuya fluff that I drew for a friend of mine for her birthday yesterday. Thanks to her fanfics, I started shipping the couple (my first non-canon ship! O_O) Since it was practically Hanamatsuri anyway, I thought I might as well use it for a theme.

I had fun designing clothing for both Akira and Yuya - I used scans of origami paper for Yuya's kimono and obi.

The lotus blossom and the lotus incense burner in the left and right corners were cg-ed seperately (lotus because it's a symbol of Buddha and Hanamatsuri is a Bhuddist festival, and... yeah... ^_^')

It's such a beautiful background! Here in San Francisco we're gearing up for Sakura Matsuri so this doujin fits in perfectly with my frame of mind at the moment! AkiraxYuya forever! XD

Wow, the background looks really pretty! I've seen some of Samurai Deeper Kyo and I think I know who Akira is, but I thought he had white hair. ^^; I'm probably thinking of someone else... >< lol
Anyway, Yuya looks pretty and its a sweet scene. I'm sure you're friend will love it.
    Keep up the great work!

It looks really cute. I like the color of the cherry blossoms and how you chose it to match the girl's kimono.

    Hum... what is Hanamatsuri? XD
    A buddhist festival? O.o
Anyway, great as always. They look like a perfect couple, and I think Akira suits Yuya way better than Kyo. He's just... too dark for her shining blonde-ness ^_^'
The cherry trees look lovely and I liked that incense-flower-like-thing ^_^
    Good job! ;) +Fav ^.^

Honestly, I think this has to be my fav thus far out of your recent artworks. XD This is so very sweet and I love the pose together. Perfect mood to watch cherry blossoms. I really love her kimono. Love the details in the lotus. Really pretty work!

I just love your drawings, Sylva! Really soft and romantic this one is. And the pink really stands out. I think it is because of the blossoms in the back, but it really makes it stand out so very pretty. But again, it is your skill at drawing that really brings it all together. Great job!
