but the swords and the blood effects are great, the clothes look really good. the hair shape looks a little funny, but
its still good and not really noticeable. awesome!

no cute girls or landscapes this time. if you watched inuyasha, you would know that he has a technique called 'blades of blood'. and so, i thought, what if it's the other way round?
thus, the blood of blades is born. to keep it simple, it is when the user cuts her flesh, allowing the blood flow out. then, she reinforces her blood into blades as hard as steel, like in above. if you see the katana she's holding, it was red from the hilt. that's because she reinforces it with her blood. should the katana break in battle, she could easily repair it by replacing the blade with her blood.
i tried to make it as violent as possible, but that was as much as i can do. it's up to you if you want to download it to see the details, but there aren't any worth noticing though. comments and critiques are always welcomed.
ps: this is the last doujin i did before going to college. won't have time to do more in future, i guess.

Thumbs up for your exams (with some kind of miracle luck if i remember correctly :)... well the result of hard work i guess). Too bad you won't be able to draw as much (though i'm gonna tell you.... you're "supposed" *cough cough* to work more after high school ^_^'.... so maybe you'll still have time XD)
Anyway, back to the drawing !
First of all, there actually is some kind of similar power in Flamme of Recca (though it's towards the end of the serie, a guy can make blades out of his own blood.... but not that "blade-looking" though). I like the half body perspective, and the splashy blood effects (and drippy too), especially since they're done by hand, it's pretty impressive !
Maybe her breasts are too big ^_^'.... And it feels like her eyes are very high on her face (maybe it's an impression i get because of that thing she's got on the eye).
Nice clothing style, and the determinate look on her face is great !Well, good luck for college XD

ooo Quite interesting concept you have there :] I'm not so great at making violent-type doujinshi, however, I do have "emo" type ones :]
I love the interesting detail you have on the clothing as well :] Quite simple, yet effective. I think it all looks great, but just one thing bothers me a little. The face. ^^; Like Anjhurin said, the eyes look somewhat to the top, however, I can see that she has an eye patch-band thing on her forhead, so perhaps that's what's making it look as if the eye is high.
You're going to college? Hoorah for you! I'm going to college as well, however, I won't be going until another three months XD Graduate in June and start school in August. :] I believe that I might be having inspiration when I start school because I'm going to an art school (the Art Institute of California-Orange County)
Good look with all your studies and stuff! I sure hope you don't end your drawing now. I'm sure that you'll find some time to submit once in a while :]

I do like all the detail gone into this- the hair, and the splats of blood are quite well done. Apart from the eye thing, I have another eye thing- and that is, to change the colour of her eye, or make her eyes stone over. Not sure if you wanted the "I'm alive but in pain" or "I'm dead and was in pain and I'll haunt you forever" effect- I probably wanted to see some more wincing ;) *does the sadistic laugh* jk
The little sun shield pokes my eye a little bit. It it was a reddish orange I probably won't pick on it, but it's yellow wheras the whole thing is red XP
College~~ meh lol, I'm in 'college' (University) and it's HELL busy--- it'd be nice to see you submit something every now and then though... ;) It'd be totally worth the wait :D

Dang man, something violent for once. It's a great doujin man. But you've gotta be kidding me. You seriously don't think you'll have time to make more doujins.
Well, back to the doujin...
The whole idea is crazy. Blades comin out of her arms. Fueling the katana with power,regenerating it with blood if it breaks. And the whole blood smears are shweet man. The coloring is done extremely well as usual. The outfit design ain't bad either. Well, that's all I can say for this piece Julian. I hope to see some more doujins from you sometime around, even though you'd be in college.
Which reminds me, have fun in college. hehe -

Haha! I'm in the same suit as you. XD Going to college doesn't mean that you won't be able to create more Doujinshies. You could always create more when you have some free time with yourself. :) Now with that said, your violent illustrations is very ineresting. I am amazed on how you can color in the blood and actually make it look like it. :D You did a great job with the coloring and I also like the character design too. Though her techique sure does look like it hurts but the concept is cool in a strange way. XD Anyways nice job Julian-kun. I wish us both luck in college (man I am going to have to take the sub again -_-' ).
