Finally, the first wallpaper without circles and stuff from me.
Originated from my Abstract wallpaper Explosion.
Explosion. My first abstract art wallpaper.
I figured I should make use of it, since I have already extracted a good one to go with it.
So here it goes:
The idea behind this was to create something like fire and explosion, what is most commonly seen in the fields of war,
within this engulfing flame, there is a sadness untold, and it is the sadness of those who died, forgotten.
This is the flames of war, it consumes, and leaves nothing but pain behind.
I am not too sure if I should explain how I did it, let me say by thinking that the cheap cloud filters are sucky, you are all major wrong, even the cloud filters are your friend, if you know how to get around it and work with it, I feel very proud to have finished this piece, and I would of course like to dedicate to all the people who continuosly give me their support. I hope you enjoy this wallpaper as much as I enjoyed making it one of my best piece ever.
Overall, this took around two days.
Layers around 45, effects are of course defaults.
My inspiration? Well....must be Sir Boing, I was actually looking at his wallpaper when I thought of something
clashing...and then this sprung on, and I was on my way to making it.

I love Mahoro, I can't stress it enough, she is my favorite female character out of all the anime series I have ever seen and I'm really glad that you decided to wall her, what more I'm glad about is what a beautiful wall that you've made here.
First off is the scan, this is probably one of the most used scans, yet probably one of the best scans out there of Mahoro in her battle outfit. I'm glad that you only used part of the scan and not all of it, mainly focusing on her facial expression and the pain that she's gone though and suffered, being soley constructed for combat. I love the scan and I think you did a wonderful job with the extraction.
As for the background, just a gorgeous piece of abstract artwork, I really love the color blending and it looks almost as if she has black wings, which is what I really love the most about this, sorta an angel of death almost. Or at least this is just my personal opinion about it all, I just really love the vibrant color to it and how peaceful of a change the colors go, really giving the viewer the feeling of flames in the background. Such detail paid to everything and exactly, everything can be used to make something more beautiful than ever expected if used right and you really did a wonderful job of that. I also have to agree with Shadow_Dude in that you've greatly stepped foward with your work lately and it shows, big time. Fantastic job Omni.
What else can I say? I really love this background, as soon as I saw it, I just had to put it on my desktop immediately, not cause of Mahoro, but cause of how damn good it is. Once again, an amazing job and it's a personal favorite for me. Keep up the gorgeous abstract artwork.

Wow, this wallpaper is very different from your usual style, although I'm sure it was no less complex. I like how the design from your abstract wall kind of turns into wings for her.

LOL...I saw the 'do not rip' sign..as if they will obey :P the more u warn, the more they wanna rip..especially when it's a good wall :)
her face texture is a little contrasting though..might wanna add a softer tone? after all...the bg is already intense.
Nice quality tones though, u seemed to have improved XD X-P -

This picture is my fave ! Whenyou become an artist don't forget to invite me to your shop ! I just sing and dance . But you you really have a tallent there ! The fire really adds in to your picture . I can even write about this in the school news paper or Lions Clubs's news paper or both ! Mahoro looks even prettier when you draw it ! I really like how you used that scan with your previous wallpaper . I liked the sad expression on Mahoro's face . I feels that you are Mahoro . I feel her saddness escaping her . I feel that I am her . I feel the saddness in her soul . It feels her real person is standing in front of me . She is like flowing in the sky , with her saddness turning slowly in to anger and into flame bursting out of her . The spirits of the people who died in the war seem to me like they are the flames in this picture . I feel that I am Mahoro . Just looking at it lets all of my anger burst away . It make me feel that when I get old and die she will be my angel taking me to heaven . She will be sad for the people who have died .
It really captures me . I don't know what to say . I am crying . It is wonderful . I hope you would draw more . Thank You
