Snuck in a few hours with illustrator between school and work for this one. Been a while, so I was a little... um, rusty? Iimages used were from random pictures, I believe of doujinshi, that I had lain around. (still looking for the original artist) And then of course, the title comes from Anne Finch's poem A Supplication for the Joys of Heaven. I had a hard time deciding which poem to go with: the first line from the previously mentioned or just the title from Christopher Brennan's Fire in the Heavens. In the end, I was against putting the word "heaven" in the title. Anytime I see the word, I think overused. But no matter the title, interpret the image however you want.

x.x You called rusty but even some people have troubles making a work like that with the outlines, they look great.
Something that you can use on your desktop when you get tired of colorful walls and stuff like that, really nice concept and outcome, and as usual, original. Good to see you back rockie.

I'm a bad procrastinator and not at all motherly hen-y, so I would actually ask you to sneak more hours in between work and school and wall xD Well, actually... sleep before that... but walling after that xD
P.S. Someone else took dibs on the seven sins as well, so I think I'll just ask people to do the virtues... or maybe if they want to do a virtue-sin wall, to focus on the virtue :)

without a doubt, a wallpaper that truly defines the pure finesse of wallpaper making, amazing calm, artistic, wonderful silent, as if over a graze of wonderful fields as we look at the horses with their wonderful manes billowing in the gentle breeze. A wonderful wonderful piece from every aspect.

quite simple looking but so beautiful :D the pose of the white horse is so elegant and the way it's mane and tail floats makes it look so light and feel the breeze of the wind. gray and white tones are blending nicely and giving camlimg atmosphere though they are little sad colours. little red gives nicely brightening touch ^_^ good job and thank you for sharing !

I like the simplicity of the piece. If there could be more red lines or some trees in the background, I think it would help to break up the grays a little more. I do like the sky's transition from white to light gray. The white horse's front hoof that melds into his leg looks a little odd, I'd suggest to seperate it with a line. The text, while fitting in well with the feel of the piece, is a little small, I think. It's sort of hard to read. You did a very nice job, and I like how you stuck with a very simple color pallet. It reminds me of a wood block print for some reason. Probably the simplicity of the lines. :) Nice work!
This wallpaper of of yours have a cool feeling to it. I love it how the majority color of your wallpaper is different tones of gray. You may consider this work to be created from your rustiness but I find it to be done adsolutely well. Keep it up rocknroll-isgo.
