I've never seen such a haunted look before. Her eyes are dead. She's looking death in the face and is too tired to care.
Disturbing for a girl that is so young and pretty, right? That's the great thing about Arina Tanemura! Incredibly lovable, adorable, pretty heroines with big, death-related issues.
I did A LOT of work with the roses and the ribbons on this. I wanted to leave that empty feeling the original pic had and still support the character with color and pattern. I worked a good 3 days on this off and on. I do have a full time job, so gone are the days of working on the computer for an extended period of time. *sigh*

i must say.. a pretty wallie
i has good effects, especially the darkness that sorrounds her..
also the roses and ribbons looked nice as boarder designs..
